CYCLUS2 SPRINT CONCENTRIC

The Cyclus2 sprint ergometer enables extreme braking forces even at low speeds.

It is the ideal ergometer for training sessions on the track bike with very high workloads from a standing start, such as is required by track sprinters. The possibility of using your own track bike provide optimal conditions for training and testing.

Speed skaters and other sports that rely on leg strength also use the sprint ergometer to train motoric skills, strength, explosiveness and speed. Coaches and sports scientists worldwide appreciate the extremely high braking resistance and reliability of the Cyclus2 sprint ergometer.

The sprint ergometer can be stored compactly in a sturdy transport case and can therefore also be used on the go. This is why you often see it in the warm-up area of track teams at international competitions.

All common tests such as the incremental test, Wingate test, maximum cadence test and isokinetic maximum strength test are already integrated, including a professional evaluation.

Users of CPET or ECG systems can connect them with the Cyclus2.

When compared to other ergometers, athletes repeatedly rate the very pleasant, realistic riding experience on the Cyclus2, which is very close to riding on the road, as outstanding. This property is particularly important for physiologically accurate test results and for ergometer training.

The Cyclus2 Standard can be stored in a sturdy, compact transport case and is therefore also suitable for mobile performance analysis and training.

01

Performance Analysis

Because of its high accuracy and flexible load control, the Cyclus2 is ideal for use in performance analysis.

All common tests such as the incremental test, Wingate test, maximum cadence test and isokinetic maximum strength test are already integrated, including a professional evaluation.

In addition, the Cyclus2 can also be controlled by CPET and ECG systems.

Test results are physiologically very accurate on the Cyclus2 standard because the test subject is tested on his or her own training or competition bike.

02

Scientific Data Analysis

After tests or training have been completed, the evaluations are clearly presented on the Cyclus2 display and can be printed or saved electronically as a PDF if desired.

The Cyclus2 can continuously record all data generated during ergometry at selectable time intervals.

The recorded data can be exported into common formats such as FIT or CSV for further scientific use and can therefore be easily synchronized with each other.

03

Integrated Tests

Load Modes: Power, Torque, Simulation (Drag, Rolling Friction, Downhill Force), Isokinetic

Integrated Tests: Incremental, Wingate, Maximum Strength, Maximum Cadence, PWC

Wingate Anaerobic Test

External Control: CPET, ECG, Training Apps

04

Ergometer Training

Ergometer training on the Cyclus2 is the most effective supplement to cycling training on the road. Many cyclists, mountain bikers and triathletes, including Olympic and world champions, use the Cyclus2 as their training ergometer.

The patented elastic mounting of your own bike in the Cyclus2 leads to realistic riding comfort and thus also enables long training sessions. Even the highest load changes during interval training are implemented precisely without delay. To simulate real competition or training routes, the Cyclus2 has a route simulation feature that precisely calculates all parameters and simulates the physical correlations between them in real time.

Training platforms such as Zwift can also be used with the Cyclus2.

05

Bluetooth Sensor Support

More and more physiological parameters of athletes are being measured with sensors. In addition to the heart rate, it is now also possible to include oxygen saturation in the muscle, core body temperature, lactate and oxygen intake in the evaluation of ergometry.

Sensors such as heart rate monitors, power meters, MOXY, VO2 Master Pro, Lactate Scout, Lactate Express and Body Core Temperature Sensor can be connected directly to the Cyclus2 via Bluetooth LE. All data from these external sensors can also be displayed and exported on the control unit in relation to other data.

06

Compatibility

Bike manufacturers are continually developing their bikes and there are many changes.

Our developers aim to ensure that all common bikes can always be used on the Cyclus2. With the accessories offered, the user can easily and quickly convert the mechanical mounts between the quick release and the various through axle systems. The sprocket cassettes can also be replaced by the user.

The Cyclus2 is therefore a future-proof investment.
